o Effects
Traumatic events can negatively affect people’s emotions, relationships with others, and perspectives on life. People with trauma may often feel shame, insecurity, fear, and powerlessness in some forms. Trauma can cause overwhelming amounts of stress that exceed the person’s ability to cope or integrate the emotions involved, eventually leading to serious, long-term negative consequences. Many people are not aware of their trauma, but implicitly they suffer unconsciously from it.

o Treatment
Trauma must be relived by grieving it in a safe therapeutic container based on trust. Somatic approaches are known as the most effective approach to treating trauma. Usually, in these methods, the neural nexus of trauma is unwound through somatic movement, introspection, and emotional release. MDMA-assisted psychotherapy and Ketamine therapy are the most advanced methods for treating trauma. These methods have been applied for many years by an alternative therapist, but recently has recently drawn mainstream attention as the most effective treatments. America’s Food and Drug Administration (FDA)of America has approved and supported the MAPS method of treatment in the five years research project. Vancouver is known as the most liberal and tolerant city, worldwide, providing these methods in many integrative holistic health centers.
